Our Culture

It’s a family company and we behave like one. We understand that having the right people makes all the difference in our business and we take the time to make sure that we let our employees know that.

Everybody here knows everybody. We all get together for things like the annual summer BBQ and the Christmas Party (yeah, lots of embarrassing games).

Our culture is rooted in continuous improvement; it is never “fixed.” We’re currently working with a culture consultant that works with our non-managerial employees to give input into the direction we should go.

For those who don’t feel comfortable expressing themselves in person, we have an anonymous suggestion box, we want to hear from everyone and we always address them directly on the company wide memo board so long as they don’t violate any laws or company policy.

Educational Opportunities

We will always review supporting an employee’s proposal to advance their skills and training.  Many employees who have demonstrated a positive attitude and the right blend of skills and performance have seen upward mobility and increased job satisfaction.

We often utilize Dale Carnegie leadership training for employees and during the year we have company-wide training sessions with an in-house instructor.

We also send employees to Catalyst Training’s “Front Line Leadership” programs as well as “Results Centered Leadership.”

We manufacture well over a thousand different products, so there’s a lot of variation and variety in types of positions and lots of opportunities to pick up new skills on the job.

One of our advantages is an Onboarding Program where employees get to experience many areas of the company before working in the position they were hired for. 

We operate 24/5, so we have the flexibility for shift work. We also offer a wide range of office jobs.
